Okay, so first of all: I'm back. (Kind of.) I've decided to come back to this blog and try to post a little more consistently from now on. I started university in October and am now officially studying Korean and thanks to that I'm deep in my K-hole again. [Meaning that I'm listening to K-Pop (almost exclusively at this point) and I'm watching variety shows and dramas again.] Also, I have to say this: Whenever I look at the statistics of this blog, no matter how long ago my last post was posted, I'm always in the hundreds with my viewcount which is amazing and incredible and I want to thank you guys! I'm thinking of organizing this blog again, maybe in a new way and pages might disappear etc... Content related: nothing will change. I'll post about my favorite bands and idols and my favorite music and TV content. I hope I can introduce you to exciting new bands and help you find new songs to listen to or new shows to watch. I also want to continue recommending songs to get merch etc etc from, just like my post about obeythekorean. New year, new me - I think I just found a good New Year's resolution. I also have a new Twitter accound only for tweeting about K-Pop related stuff. There are my blog's Twitter @kpopgotmyseoul and my new personal Twitter @crookdg. The navigation page is still under construction (and probably will be for quite a while).
I have a pretty busy schedule with uni and everything so I'll try to at least post every two weeks. I'm thinking about choosing a upload day (that would probably be Sunday) but I haven't really decided to go through with that yet. Now, very important: I have developed some new obsessions recently. Namely Sechs Kies, Jo Jungsuk and I rediscovered my love for EXO. Big Bang will forever be my kings but with half of them enlisting pretty soon and them generally going their own ways at the moment, there's not that much to focus on. I will try to post a schedule at the beginning of each month and keep it up to date (it'll probably include comebacks and dramas, maybe certain other events). If you have any questions about anything K-Pop related or you just want to chat or recommend something: Leave a comment (I make sure to reply asap!!) or send me an email to [email protected]! I also use Snapchat which mostly consists of updates on shows I'm watching or whatever. Send a quick mail and I'll tell you my username! (Because I'm not that sure about posting it online publicly.) That would probably be it... One or two things about current events: 1) I hate fanwars and that whole EXO-L / ARMY thing was totally unnecessary. But I'm still angry at those people who translated Baekhyun's words in a wrong way and spread that. It's a shame because as a fan who cannot speak Korean you're totally dependent on translators and have to believe in them to translate correctly. Baekhyun even apologized for what he supposedly said although it was totally taken out of context and wrong. 2) I read a thread on Twitter about allkpop (but I can't find it right now) and it kind of opened my eyes but I decided to kind of be more distant and not believe anything they write about. 3) In good news, Sechs Kies' movie "Eighteen" is set to be released in two weeks and that makes me very happy. Okay, that's it for now. I'm gonna get back to binging "Master Key", it's definitely my new favorite variety show! I really hope to hear from some of my readers sooner or later. (I'm also thinking about doing a giveaway at some point or another but I still have to look into it.) Thanks for reading! 안녕~
