My friend told me about this song and when I finally took the time to listen to it, I was blown away by the vocals and the beauty of this song. (Literally every song by Day6 is gold though, so go listen to their albums!)

Releases listened to: Favorite album: Void - The Rose Favorite songs: Lo Siento - Super Junior, Blooming Days - EXO-CBX, 빛나 (The Light) - Imfact Favorite MV I still haven't gotten over Positive (Pentagon) so it took me some time to listen to the new stuff that was released within the last two weeks. I eventually came around to it though and it was so worth it.
I was especially smitten by The Rose's release and fell in love with the title track and had to look them up immediately after. I was highly anticipating EXO-CBX's comeback and was not disappointed. Blooming Day is a bop and the other songs on the mini album are also really nice. Super Junior's new title track has been stuck in my head for the past two weeks since its release and I liked Hyoyeon's single "Sober" a lot as well as Imfact's new single. I can only recommend you to listen to all title tracks from the albums listed above because they're seriously all worth a listen. (And the MVs are so visually pleasing ugh.) I recently decided to watch King of Mask Singer again and came across an episode with a mask called the Sheperd Boy. I actually watched it because I knew Lee Hongki, FT Island's leader, was in that episode as well. But then I was literally blown away by this Sheperd Boy's performance in the second round. Unfortuantely, he went up against Sohyang who ended up becoming the new Mask King in that episode, so naturally, Sheperd Boy lost. But I gained a new favorite band. Turns out the Sheperd Boy was the lead singer of the K-Indie rock bank Romantic Punch: Bae Inhyuk. I actually immediately liked him just from his appearance with those glasses and his blond hair... Plus his voice and his stage had totally blown me away so I decided I had to look up Romantic Punch, too. I actually really like rock music (FT Island is one of the few Korean "rock" bands I know and adore) and I knew I needed to do some research. I ended up downloading all of Romantic Punch's albums and listened to two of them right away. I went and liked their Facebook page and followed them on Twitter and was shocked to see they only have around 7,000 followers. They definitely deserve more recognition in my opinion because I seriously love their music, their sound and Bae Inhyuk's voice is so special and precious. I really hope they can gain a few new fans through this post. I don't know much about them, just that they perform on a lot of festivals (there are also videos on Youtube you can check out of live performances) and they have been active since 2003 (I think...). They have a few albums and a very unique sound, in my opinion. I'll put some of my favorite songs below for you guys to check out! Or maybe you already know them and have a favorite song of your own that you can leave in the comments down below for me to check out!
I love his voice so much and the song is so calming and beautiful to listen to.
Welcome to yet another new series (the last new one for now): Throwback Thursday! I want to introduce you to Korean music from the 90s and early 2000s because I got into especially 90s K-Pop a few years ago and always get sad when I'm reminded how few international fans know and appreciate the 1st Gen groups / singers.
